An Early Peek at Alfred 6
Alfred 6: Unlimited Possibilities - Ooh! A peek at Alfred version 6 has surfaced. I’ve used the Alfred app since its first version. I use it as an app launcher, but also I have a lot of keystrokes tied to it to unmount drives, search Reddit and and go straight to the link, type a file name and open it, and so much more. Alfred has a lot of capabilities for building workflows. Alfred is one of the first apps I load on a new Mac setup (if starting from scratch).
Alfred arrives with a lot of capability that helps, but there is an active community that builds and shares workflows. I there have been a couple of workflows I’d really want that hit endpoint that isn’t offered. I’ve sort of been holding off on building workflows until version 6 comes out.
One of the things about Alfred that makes me smile is the company name, Running with Crayons.
